Oral Histories

The Lowell Area Historical Museum has an active program of conducting oral histories of citizens including Veterans of the Lowell area. 

Tune in to The LOWELLife program of oral histories on
​92.3 FM each Sunday at 8:00pm to hear a selection each week.

The Lowell Area Historical Museum is also accepting names for future interviews. If you are interested, or know someone that we should consider, please contact us.

Artifacts

The Lowell Area Historical Museum collects artifacts related to the history of the Lowell area from all time periods. Because the collection is so large, not all artifacts can be displayed in an exhibit at the same time. The museum creates a new temporary exhibit every two years to spotlight different topics and artifacts. Artifacts are also regularly used in research. Explore the topics below to get a feel for the expanse of our collection.

Military Records Form
The Lowell Area Historical Museum is compiling a record of area servicemen and women.  If you have, or someone you know has, records for and/or information on servicemen or women in the United States military, please fill out this form and return it to our office.
Records for those who either served our country in peacetime or during the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Viet Nam, Desert Storm and/or Operation Enduring Freedom are very much appreciated.  Please use a separate form for each service person..
