Youth Summer Camp
AT FALLASBURG HISTORICAL VILLAGE Tuesday, July 11, 2023 9:00 am-2:10 pm Meet at the Fallasburg School The Lowell Area Historical Museum offers a youth camp each summer. This year campers will explore activities related to life in the Civil War era. Each camper picks two activities. Activities include: Games of the Times (Mancala, checkers, pigs in a pen, Jarabadash, etc.) School of the Soldier (enlistment, drills, discharge) Camp Life Activities (make hardtack, homemade dye, build a shelter) Tell a story with woodcut prints (carving a picture into wood, printing) All campers will participate in an interactive program and enjoy a Civil War style lunch.
