The Lowell House hotel, shown here on June 9, 1905, was located on
the corner of Washington and Main Streets.
The building was built c. 1867 as a wagon works. In 1884, it became the Davis House hotel.
The building later became Christensen's Grocery and Paddle Pop Manufactory and
today is Canfield Plumbing and Heating.
